What material are Strip Grates made of?
The VL Grates are made from solid brass. The Organic Brushed Brass is left natural and uncoated, while Matte Black and Chrome are chrome-plated finishes. Our stainless steel is crafted from 306 grade steel, which performs exceptionally well in wet areas.
We selected brass as the material for the grates and drains because it is known for its durability, corrosion resistance, and ability to provide a long-lasting product. Additionally, brass is also a recyclable material, making it an environmentally conscious choice.
The TILEgap blade is crafted from aluminium with an anodised finish. The anodising further boosts its corrosion resistance and durability, appealing to those who favour a minimalist style.
